Trader’s Edge Marketing Dashboard
The dashboard, created for an advertising firm, bridges the gap between their customer relationship management (CRM) software, their sales transactions, and their business goals. Or, in other words, the dashboard is a marketing campaign management tool to keep track of revenue, expenses, marketing assets, links, campaign-specific details, and campaign ownership.
Flexibility and scalability were key factors for the project and translated into features such as saving campaign searches, building custom reports, saving those custom reports, and exporting the data with user-defined criteria. Users can also upload document and media assets to the campaign, and save external links to additional resources. This is all done through an interactive interface (Ajax-driven) that allows the user to manage their campaign or generate their report without having to refresh their page.
This project is the perfect example of how effective planning leads to project success, especially within a complex scope. Starting with a great client direction, we further defined and refined that idea through wire-frames and written requirements to develop it into a functional yet beautiful reality.
